Dolores switches parallel parking rules back on for winter
The town says its parallel parking rules are in force from November through May so snowplows can get down the street.
Drivers in Dolores should change where they leave their vehicles for the winter. The town posted a reminder on Friday afternoon that its parallel parking rules are back in force.
“The town of Dolores reactivates the parallel parking rules in November and enforces them through May,” the town said in the post, adding that snow season “is right around the corner” and that it will affect parking habits.
The town did not list the streets the rules cover, give a penalty or say when enforcement starts, and it has not posted a separate notice on its website. Town Hall is at 601 Central Ave. and can be reached at 970-882-7720.
