The two matches were the San Juan Basin League tournament games the district’s schedule had listed across October 30 and 31 with the location given only as “Based on Seeding.” Both are recorded as home matches, the Ignacio game at Dolores High School, which settles a venue the school itself never published. Both are also recorded as non-league, so the Bears’ league record stands where it was at 8-0.
The wins were the 14th and 15th in a row. Dolores has not lost since September 12, when it dropped two five-set matches on the same day, to Ignacio and to Vail Christian. Friday’s win over Ignacio reversed one of those.
No further fixtures are listed for the team. The Colorado High School Activities Association’s volleyball calendar puts the regional seeding meeting on Monday, November 2, regionals completed by Saturday, November 7, state brackets released Monday, November 9, and the state championships on November 12 to 14. No classification bracket had been posted as of Saturday morning.
