Dolores volleyball sweeps Norwood to finish league play unbeaten
The Bears' 3-0 win on Tuesday was their eighth league match without a loss. The league tournament follows on Friday and Saturday.
Dolores swept Norwood 3-0 on the road on Tuesday afternoon, closing out the Bears’ league season without a defeat in it.
The varsity girls now stand 19-2 overall and 8-0 in league play, the only unbeaten league record among the three Montezuma County schools this volleyball season.
Next comes the league tournament on Friday and Saturday. The Dolores School District’s own schedule lists it as two games with the location “based on seeding” and no time given, while MaxPreps has the Bears down for Telluride at 3 p.m. and Ignacio at 6 p.m. on Friday. Anyone planning to travel should check with the school, since the venue depends on how the seeding falls.
Full results and records for all three schools are on the Current’s scoreboards page. The box score is on MaxPreps, which supplies the scores and schedules the Current reports.
