Panther sports this week: September 21-27
Volleyball hosts Pagosa on Tuesday, the only home date of the week. Football travels to Gunnison on Friday night.
Montezuma-Cortez High School teams play eight scheduled dates this week, and only one of them is at home.
Monday, September 21 — JV football at Mancos, 5 p.m.
Tuesday, September 22 — Volleyball hosts Pagosa, 4:30 p.m., C/JV/V. The week’s only home date.
Wednesday, September 23 — Boys golf at the IML Tournament, starting 3 p.m. and running into Thursday.
Thursday, September 24 — Soccer at Pagosa, 4 p.m., varsity and JV.
Friday, September 25 — Volleyball at Alamosa, 4:30 p.m., C/JV/V. Varsity football at Gunnison, 7 p.m.
Saturday, September 26 — Volleyball at Centauri, 11 a.m., C/JV/V. Softball at Rifle, 3 p.m., varsity doubleheader.
Looking ahead: softball hosts Durango on Tuesday, September 29 at 3 p.m., and volleyball hosts Bayfield the same evening at 4:30. Homecoming is Friday, October 2, when varsity football hosts Aspen at 7 p.m.
