Dolores volleyball takes five sets at Telluride for a sixth straight win
The Bears are 18-2 and unbeaten in league play. They travel to Norwood on Monday.
It took Dolores High School five sets to get past Telluride on Thursday evening, but the varsity finished it 3-2 and stretched its winning run to six.
MaxPreps records the fixture as one that does not affect the league table, so Dolores remains 7-0 against league opposition. Counting every opponent, the Bears are 18-2.
That is two deciding sets inside a week — they also came from behind to see off Sanford on October 16 — and no defeat at all since September.
Monday, October 27 takes them to Norwood for a league fixture listed at 4:30 p.m. After that they are at home on October 30 for a two-match day against opponents yet to be set.
These figures come from the MaxPreps feed that updates the Cortez Current scoreboards page, where every Dolores, Mancos and Montezuma-Cortez result for the season is listed. Dolores keeps its own page on MaxPreps.
