Spark holds a volunteer information session at the Cortez Public Library, which the listing says will show how the brain and heart work when a person volunteers. The organizer asks people to RSVP. The listing gives two different dates for this session — its own row says Thursday, Nov. 19, and its description says Nov. 17 — so check with Spark before setting out.
