Council takes a first vote on Ordinance No. 1378, the city’s 2027 budget, with the second reading and public hearing set for Nov. 24. Also on the agenda are a 2027 contract for municipal judge services, a resolution the police department needs in order to receive Proposition 130 money, and a regional housing needs assessment prepared under state law. A work session runs at 6 p.m. beforehand. Both meetings are streamed on the city’s council meetings channel.
