The Cortez Planning and Zoning Commission meets the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. The commission hears land-use applications — conditional use permits, variances and rezonings — and makes recommendations to City Council on changes to the Land Use Code. Agendas and packets are posted on the city’s public portal a few days ahead, and meetings are streamed on the city’s council meetings channel on YouTube.
