Delta closes Panther football's season with a 60-13 win
Sixty points is the most Montezuma-Cortez has conceded all autumn, and Friday night at Delta was the last fixture either MaxPreps or the school calendar lists.

It was a league fixture, which puts the Panthers at 1-5 against 2A Western Slope opposition and 2-7 across the whole season.
Sixty is a season high for points allowed, a little above the 47 that Cedaredge and then Basalt each put up. Cortez won twice all year; the fuller account of how the year went is in our report on last week’s home finale against Basalt.
Whether anything follows is, for the moment, unanswerable from the public record. No Panther football fixture remains on MaxPreps, and the school has still posted nothing whatever in its November calendar — no football, no other sport. A postseason date, if one comes, should turn up there.
The box score is on MaxPreps, which also supplies the two records above and this site’s scoreboards page. The empty November is the school’s own calendar.
