Rehoboth Christian sweeps Mancos volleyball at home
Saturday morning's 0-3 defeat was one of the fixtures that carries no league weight, so the Bluejays' standing is untouched.
Visiting Rehoboth Christian took all three sets off the Mancos High School varsity on Saturday morning.
Because the fixture is one of the non-counting kind, the Bluejays hold their league position at 3-2; across all opponents they slip to 8-10. A junior varsity meeting with the same school was set down for 11 a.m. and no score for it has appeared. The side’s previous outing, a home defeat to Telluride, was reported here on Wednesday.
Three dates follow in quick succession. Mancos travels to Telluride on Tuesday, October 20, the junior varsity at 4:30 p.m. and the varsity at 6 p.m., then returns home against Nucla on Thursday, October 22. On Friday, October 23 the varsity footballers host Del Norte at 6 p.m., a night the school’s athletics calendar bills as both senior night and homecoming.
Scores and season figures here are taken from MaxPreps. A combined table for the three Montezuma County high schools sits on this site’s scoreboards page.
