Panther sports this week: September 28-October 4
Five home dates, including homecoming football against Aspen on Friday night and a softball doubleheader on Saturday.
After a week with no home games at all, Montezuma-Cortez High School teams play five home dates in the next seven days, and homecoming football lands on Friday night.

Monday, September 28 — Volleyball at Dolores, 4:30 p.m., C/JV/V.
Tuesday, September 29 — Softball hosts Durango, 3 p.m., varsity and JV. Volleyball hosts Bayfield, 4:30 p.m., C/JV/V.
Thursday, October 1 — Soccer at Bayfield, 4 p.m., varsity and JV.
Friday, October 2 — Homecoming. Varsity football hosts Aspen, 7 p.m.
Saturday, October 3 — Softball hosts Gunnison, noon, varsity doubleheader. Soccer hosts Pagosa, 1 p.m., varsity and JV.
There is nothing scheduled for Wednesday or Sunday.
Looking ahead: softball hosts Rifle in a varsity doubleheader on Monday, October 5 at 1 p.m., volleyball travels to Monticello on Tuesday, October 6, and varsity football is home again against Basalt on Friday, October 16.
