Bluejays and Bears scoreboard: week of September 21
Dolores and Mancos volleyball both went unbeaten. MaxPreps has posted no result for either school's varsity football game.
Volleyball carried the week for both schools. Dolores and Mancos each won two matches without dropping a set, and both sit at 3-0 in the 2A/1A San Juan Basin.

Dolores
The varsity volleyball team swept both of its home matches, beating Monticello 3-0 on Thursday and Ridgway 3-0 on Saturday. The Bears are 9-2 on the season and 3-0 in league play, first in the 2A/1A San Juan Basin.
JV football beat Monticello 40-8 at home on Tuesday.
Varsity football hosted Custer County on Friday night for homecoming. MaxPreps has posted no result for that game, and the school’s varsity football page there has not been updated since late August.
Mancos
The varsity volleyball team won both of its matches on the road without dropping a set — 3-0 at Dove Creek on Tuesday in a league match, and 3-0 at Sangre de Cristo on Friday. That is a sixth straight win. The Bluejays are 7-5 on the season and 3-0 in league play.
Varsity football played at Sargent/Sangre de Cristo on Friday night. MaxPreps has posted no result for that game either.
The two schools meet on the football field on Friday, October 2, when Dolores hosts Mancos at 7 p.m.
