Jessie Nadene Hamilton

Jessie Nadene Hamilton was born at home on June 4, 1936, the daughter of Horace Levi Baker and Leona Harmony Baker. She died at home on September 22, 2026, with her family at her side.

She grew up in Montezuma County, attending elementary school at Arbor and Blue Door, and went to high school in three different states while her father looked for work. She worked alongside her husband in the family trucking business.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Charles and Kenneth Baker, and her sister Darlene Cumings. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Jack; her brother, Don Baker; and her sons, Buddy and Tony.

Her notice says no services will be held. Arrangements are under the care of Ertel Funeral Home.
