On Friday, October 23, the Cortez Makerspace (209 W Main St) opens its doors for the Innovation Challenge Day & Awards Night.

Enjoy an all-day showcase of the finalists’ work, drinks, and live music. At 5 pm, five judges score the winners on the spot and crown one champion per division, from the $5,000 Open prize to the Youth scholarship. The People’s Choice goes to the entry the season’s applause picks.

And before the lights go down, winning creations are sealed away as the treasures of Part Two: the region-wide treasure hunt that begins soon!
