The Virga Foundation and the Colorado Environmental Rights Coalition

A bring-your-own picnic by the Dolores River, shared on the Town of Dolores Facebook page. The flyer lists picnicking from 4 to 5 p.m., a talk by Maya K. van Rossum on a proposed Colorado constitutional amendment from 5 to 6 p.m., tabling and family activities from 6 to 8 p.m., and music afterward. Guest performers listed are Navajo sand artist and storyteller Eugene Joe, Navajo mural artist James Joe, Navajo flute player and flute maker Donald Coolidge, and the Sweet Alma Soul Sisters, Karla Ascher and Wendy Kerner. The flyer lists The Virga Foundation, the Colorado Environmental Rights Coalition and Green Amendments for the Generations as sponsors, and gives COEnvironmentalRights.org as the information page. The flyer does not give an admission price.
